ABOUT ME

My name’s James and I’m a 20-year-old photographer, and filmmaker based in the UK. I am currently studying Film Production at Arts University Bournemouth.

I have a deep-rooted love for street photography and its ability to capture the nuance of everyday life. My work explores the intersection of human stories with the artificial spaces we create, taking a modern, globalised perspective. Through my work, I want to question the meaning of borders and the constructed nature of the nation-state by observing the universal patterns of human behaviour, while celebrating the cultural idiosyncrasies that make us distinct.

Films are my second great passion, and it is my skill for composition and visual storytelling that I want to turn into a career as a cinematographer.
